The DEK4000 series of diesel generators offer the best possible fuel efficiency while delivering a modest 3Kilo-Watt output. They can run on red diesel and consume less fuel than a similar petrol unit and are therefore more economical in the long term. The DEK4000CLEX version is semi-enclosed with a superior sound dampening arrangement giving improved noise output of 80 dBA at 4 metres. It also has improved output utilising the latest in Automatic Voltage Regulation control electronics, keeping the voltage stable even under varying loads. This is essential for powering modern electrical and electronic equipment. Each unit is equipped with both recoil and electric starter, dual voltage output plus a seperate 12 Volt DC supply. The front panel has a voltmeter, circuit breaker, oil alarm, starter switch and the power output sockets. The 296cc, 5.5 horse power, direct-injection diesel engine has a decompression lever for easier hand-starting in the event of a flat battery. The engine has an oil alarm and the fuel tank is fitted with a visual fuel guage. Comes complete with starting battery, a set of 240V and 120V plugs and the operators manual. |
